MASS is designed for Practice Management

MASS helps manage your business and your business is mobile anesthesia. To build a mobile anesthesia business, you start with two basic things: Facilities and Providers, but there is a lot more to it. All the information and processes that contribute to profit generated from sending providers to facilities is managed for you by MASS.

Encounter Submission

MASS assists with the encounter submission process by providing a way for facilities to submit encounters electronically.

If you receive an encounter over email or fax, an employee has to re-enter those encounters into one or more systems manually. That is not a problem in MASS because MASS has the facility portal. When an encounter is submitted via the facility portal, the portal collects the patient, payer and procedure information along with the necessary proof documents and generates an encounter number. That encounter is stored in MASS and that electronic record is used and referenced through the scheduling process.

The facility portal is a secure interface your facilities can use to securely submit encounters saving your employees time while increasing the accuracy of your data.

Encounters are tracked via an encounter number from submission through scheduling and can be used by the facility and your staff to communicate with one another without having to reference the patient information which promotes patient privacy.

As encounters are received, our workflow ensures they are reviewed, validated and scheduled by the appropriate employees automatically!

Credentialing

Managing the credentialing process is a nightmare without a system like MASS.

MASS tracks the payers your facilities accept, the credentials those payers require and the credentialing status of each of your providers in an easy to use, easy to understand and easy to reference manner. Need a document from a provider? MASS helps you request it. Is a credential expiring? MASS has already added a warning to your diary. Need to know if a provider has been credentialed with a payer? Check the status notes. It is right there!

Tracking the expiration of credentialing documents is a crucial part of credentialing. Your practice has to have the latest copy of all credentialing documents so you can submit them to the payers your facilities accept. MASS makes tracking expirations easy!

As a documents expiration date approaches, MASS will add an entry to your diary. That will prompt an employee in your credentialing department to request the updated document from your provider using the document request feature.

An email notification containing a link to the provider portal is generated and sent to the provider. The provider uses that link to supply the office with the updated document. All of this activity is tracked in MASS for you and your staff to review. Anyone that is interested in the providers credentialing status can check that status at any time. No more emails! No more phone calls! No more waiting for a response!

Scheduling

Mobile anesthesia lives and dies on scheduling.

MASS leverages its knowledge about your busy to streamline the scheduling process. MASS tracks:

  • Your providers
    • Their preferences
    • Their credentialing status
    • Their availability
    • Their rates
  • Your facilities
    • Their preferences
    • Their payers
      • Their credentialing requirements
    • Their patients

And then it puts that information to work for you by filtering the provider pool and providing an estimated cost breakdown per provider. Your scheduler can make informed profitable decisions quickly.

MASS presents your scheduler with a filtered set of options that prioritizes profitability. When a scheduler selects a provider from the pool, a snapshot of the pool is taken and stored with the schedule. Management can review that snapshot at a later date as part of the scheduler's performance review.

If your scheduler is cross referencing emails and Office documents trying to piece together a list of eligible providers, MASS can help you! That process is inefficient and it is difficult for management to review. MASS has a better way.

If you are using a scheduling system, MASS is better because MASS focuses on efficiency, accountability and profit generation. Contact us today and we'll show you how.
